And, yes your point is well taken. I think this focus on gloom and doom has real negative effects on many JW's emotionally. I had OCD bad all the years I was a Witness. OCD can be quite distressing. After I had left, my OCD diminished to almost nothing, I slept a lot better and my feelings of anxiety dimished significantly. Paines words are quite fitting. Thanks for the post! Nice quote.
