“Go therefore and make disciples of people…..” supposedly “interpreted” by witlesses as something to be done WEEKLY if not DAILY but

“Keep doing this in remembrance of me” is something to be done only ANNUALLY?

How many people died and will die an equal or worse death than the Bible describes Jesus experienced?

Answer: Millions.

My mother died of cancer and a whole host of other vile and painful things. She suffered for two years. So what??

On your last “crazy ass” point. Let’s say Bill Gates’ father had 100 times the money he has.
Bill Gates gives everyone in the world one dollar, knowing his father will reimburse him.
That’s 6.6 Billion dollars. Gates’ father then turns around and gives him the 6.6 billion back.
Did Bill Gates “make a great sacrifice for mankind”, to which we should be indebted to him every hour for the rest of our lives?

You’ll see visions and wierd stuff. You visions are based a lot on your preconceived notions.

Try it. In your case you’ll see Jesus.

My point is any “feelings” you get after whipping yourself up, like “crying to Jesus with your whole being” will be based more on what you expect than what is real.

The words of Jesus himeslf in the Bible are contrdictory. He made the point to his enemies that he ministered to sinners and yet he only appears to you if you are “crying to Jesus with your whole being”.

He could simply appear to me and I would change instantly. He should know that.

Instead, somehow Christians think that putting yourself in a state of high emotion is necessary to “recieve Jesus”. Were the sinners he ministered to in the Bible “crying to Jesus with (their)whole being”. That’s not what the Bible says.

I don’t believe in the Bible, but you do. Quoting scriptures from the Bible proves nothing to me.

Jesus could solve 99% of the worlds problems simply by appearing to everyone, telling us how to act, what to do etc. There would be no doubt what the true religion was.

Instead he allows dreadful human misery to continue.

Would a loving “Savior” who “died for us” allow this?

And by the way in what crazy ass univers does it make nay sense that the son of god had to die for the rest of humanity? What was the point?

Try reason, instead of emotion and self induced visions.

Open your heart and take the message of Jesus serious. It’s not a religion- it is your salvation.

If you would have been the only person on earth- He would have died on the cross JUST FOR YOU.

You should try it just one time to cry to Jesus with your whole being- and see what happens- I can promise you that your life will be forever changed.
