The End of the World

It’s the end of the world as we know it.
It’s the end of the world as we know it.
It’s the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine

From the R.E.M. song, “It The End of The World”

Boy, Jehovah’s Witnesses are having a field day with the latest world events. And I think I agree with them on certain aspects.

Obama is obviously out to destroy to United States capitalist system and turn the US into a European style Socialist State. He may even have higher aspirations, like becoming a dictator and naming himself President for Life.  If you read all the stuff out there about what’s going on, not just the lame stream media, but FOX news as well and read up on The Cloward and Piven Plan and Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals”, it should become obvious that Obama is following their strategy to the letter.

And what is that, you may ask? Over load the economy with bloated government and debt until it crashes. When it can no longer pay entitlements, you have a vast army of “now not being paid” welfare recipients, food stamp users, illegal aliens and other such blood sucker that you can turn on “the rich”, cause widespread chaos, seize our guns and Obama can be the hero to the rescue with a “New America”.

In the meantime, we lose sight of Iran and other such rogue states amassing nuclear arsenals, China and Russia’s growing militarism, Islam gaining a strong foothold in many countries and a host of other such stuff that the US, by its very presence and power now keeps in check.

Islam is not a religion. It’s a socio-economic system, a government, with its own set of rules, i.e. Sharia Law. Its stated purpose is to convert or kill everyone in the world. And it is making progress.

The end of the world. Very possible.

Well, time for the Jo Ho’s to get in high gear as they await the end, which has been “just around the corner” for decades.

For example, they predicted the end of the world would happen at seven distinct times in the 20th Century. I personally was a Jo Ho and lived through the last three predictions, 1) 1975, 2)before the end of the 20th Century and 3)before the generation born in 1914 died off.

Of course none of this happened. So, now there is no Jo Ho defined time, date or time period. Just the general “it’s right around the corner”.

Well, I would guess that if you predict the end of the world enough times, you are bound to be right once. If you are the Jo Ho’s it just might not happen as you expect. In short they expect God to destroy the world, kill everyone but Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Jo Ho’s will live on a cleansed paradise earth. Oh and they will be perfect and immortal. Great work, if you can get it.

Sorry, JW’s but after you record of being 100% wrong I would have to say that you are basically still full of shit. Oh, the world may “end” in some sort of nuclear holocaust, initiated by any number of scenarios, there may be a worldwide epidemic, there may be a prolonged ground war between Islam and the non crazy people and again there are many non nuclear scenarios.

Likely there will be survivors and civilization will be altered or changed completely. But an earth populated by all the Jo Ho’s, ruled by God and everyone living disease free and remaining young forever? Not likely.

More like a ravaged countryside with roving bands of people either trying to survive or violently preying on the weak. Perhaps there will be portions of countries that still exist trying to expand their territory. Whichever of the numerous possible scenarios play out, basically the prospect are very unpleasant.

If you are not prepared and have the resolve to protect yourself and your loved ones, likely you will be someone’s prey. Civil unrest, violent armed confrontation and perhaps racial wars are coming to the US and many parts of the world.

I chuckle to myself whenever I think of the arrogance of the Jehovah’s Witnesses: “Yes God is going to only save us. He is going to kill the rest of humankind.”

I know this is their thoughts as I used to be them and that’s what they are taught. Keep thinking that way, Jo Hos. You’ll be the first prey.

As you know, I’ve been with you lock step as you have ripped into JW’s. Obviously you have been on the money in their past claims of “end times.” It’s nothing more than a recruiting tool and a fear tool to keep the sheep in the fold. You know exactly what you note about JW’s.

But I have to take issue with you on your political asseements noted here.

President Obama is not “out to destroy the US system of capitalism.” He works hand in hand with Wall Street, the biggest beneficiaries of Capitalism. He loaded his Cabinet with Wall Streeters, the people partly responsible for the problems of 2008.

FoxNews is the propoganda arm of the Republican Party, not a news outlet one should go for information. President Obama has been far more conservative leaning in actual policies than his progressive base expected. He has even embraced many international positions of Bushco and doubled down on them.

As for the “bloated government and debt”
Fact – The US government had a material surplus when Bill Clinton left office.
Fact – Iraq, Afghanistan, Tax cuts, Medicare Part B all unpaid for
under George Bush left us with a huge deficit . Few complained about the deficit, debt or the budget under bush.
Fact – The economy went South well BEFORE Obama came into office. Now debt, deficits and the budget are a problem under President Obama as we struggle to get out of a gigantic hole. Blatant hypocrisy.

“Seize guns?” This administration has never said anything about that. It won’t happen.

Illegal aliens? This administration has easily deported more people than any other. Check the facts.

China and Russia militarism? In 1960, yes. But now China puts their money into infrastructure for the futureand laughs while the US piss away money in Iraq, Afghanistan and ‘Homeland Security’

How long do we have to keep hearing about the latest boogeyman, “Scary Muslims”, usually for political purposes ?

As for JoHos and the end of the world…..I think they have learned a lesson. Always say “EOTW is near”…..but never suggest specifically when again.

    Peace to you ISNR.

Still daydreaming and in pain twice a week.

I have always found it blindly stupid how JW’s rail against the violence in Football, Boxing, life etc…….yet pray for the day when billions of people are killed “all around them” leaving the Earth with pools of blood everywhere. Brought to you by a loving, benevolent god, of course.

I agree with most of what you said about their stand on the world being destroyed, but the witnesses say they will be the only religion standing and entering a paradise. I reserve the fact that could be only possible if they changed their attitude and followed Jesus words more carefully to “love one another” like I loved you. I was one of those nice people and most are…but they are boxed in a double negative paradigm of fear of their governing body and fear of God, but Jehovah which has more insight then their governing body of leaders knows hearts and does the judging. Only a new revelation from God and the Christ before his grand return on his spirtual horses can give a heads up to a religion so desperate for answers and as of now there are no utterances from above. The witnesses have been taught a lie of where they are the only people on earth that will make Armageddon without a plan or plans how this is to come about. They know nothing and don’t want to know how they will be picked out first to be killed as to the lions if Obama or the next dictator unleashes Martial law and fema camps. Other countries already are doing that and that should be a warning in this country, but all are sheeple, sleeping at the wheel watching tv when not doing their old studies in their new watchtower magazines, giving drone like answers at their meetings that have been repeated millions of times. They are magazine pushers and most of them are illeterate as to what to say at doors when they should be armed with info if pulled into discussions. The society of these pacifist people, (nothing wrong there) is correct on neutrality but there is a time a man must stand up and defend himself and his family…Many families have been destroyed by the Society and they never apolgize for it. If your predictions are wrong, say it to be and apologise for the anquished you brought on your flock. Jesus will judge his unfaithful and indiscrete slaves because they keep their flocks in the dark not telling them how the New World Order is going to kill them if Christ does not return in time to save them…I just don’t understand only Jehovahs witnesses are the only people Jehovah gives a damn about when scripture refers to the persecution of his people as if “putting a finger in Gods eye”. What special umbrella do they have that the rest of us don’t have? We are saved by the blood and the faith in Jesus, not working and building up hours in their ministries pushing magazines people never read. Scaring people not to leave the faith and keep contributing to the organization with the congregants money, real estate and precious gems was not the way of the Christ and his apostles. Letting pedophiles loose in the congregations is an obamanation which of many sisters in the kingdom hall like very much. In fact many love Obama but can’t see that they are enemies of God if they do. If peoples hearts is what Jehovah wants, why don’t the Witnesses witness to the world by internet instead of door to door? There are so many questions, few answers….

Hmmm…I found the link to your site on Deism.com. I was very impressed by your response. It was the first time I had read an article by an ex-Jehovah’s Witness that was not filled with bitterness, etc. Unfortunately, I then came to your blog site and read the above post. It definitely blew my good opinion. You could make your point so much better without the senseless profanity. Rather than being the logical, reasoning person you seemed to be on Deism.com, you come across as just another crackpot and that is a shame.

  5. Buddhagan Says:

I came to your blog from a deist website. My heart jumps for joy when I come across another exJW like myself. I can understand you coming off as “crackpot”. After years of repression and being brainwashed, I feel a bit insane myself. Is your blog the best way to keep in touch with you?
